Lomic Services offers specialised contract administration services that formalise and manage the relationships between funding agencies, study sponsors, and research or implementation institutions. We ensure that contractual obligations are clearly defined, mutually understood, and consistently fulfilled throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Contract development & review
We assist in the drafting and review of study agreements, sub-award contracts, memoranda of understanding (MoUs), and service-level agreements between parties. Our review process ensures alignment with applicable Nigerian law, sponsor regulations, and international research governance frameworks.
Obligation tracking
Lomic Services maintains a structured obligations register for each contract, tracking deliverable deadlines, reporting milestones, budget utilisation thresholds, and renewal or termination provisions. Alerts are issued to relevant parties in advance of critical deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
Contract modifications & amendments
Where changes in project scope, timeline, or budget necessitate contract amendments, we manage the modification process from initiation through to execution, ensuring that all parties are in agreement and that revised terms are accurately reflected in the project record.
Close-out & record retention
Upon project completion, Lomic Services conducts a formal contract close-out process, including final deliverable verification, release of retention funds (where applicable), and archiving of all contract documentation in accordance with sponsor and regulatory retention requirements.
Primary audience: International funding agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, academic institutions, and government health bodies entering into formal research or programme agreements in Nigeria.
